March 4, 1942 - "Safe and Well, Java" . Those four cable words were
the last contact that Mr. W.A. Morris had from his son Angus.
Two days later the Japanese overan Java.

A 14 months' silence followed. Anxiety and frustration set in not knowing
what had happened...was he dead or alive. Then out of the blue a letter
dated Feb.28, 1943 arrives from Japan!!
